Objectives

The family-founded company is a leading manufacturer of painting tools in Germany and has been supplying customers from trade and industry throughout Germany for over 75 years. In doing so, our customer relies in particular on an in-house and nationwide field service. The initial situation no longer did justice to the state of digitization: Until 2021, most orders were recorded at customers exclusively with a pen and order pad and were then sent by fax to the head office. This data was then recorded manually in the ERP system.

Solution

The company initially implemented a sales app with engomo. This enabled digital order entry with price and stock information, mobile CRM and a statistics tool. This first joint step towards digitization led to our customer's desire for their own B2B store. With the help of engomo, the complex price structure with interlocking customer-specific prices and discount groups could be realized and thus became the pilot project of engomoWeb. .

Results

The result after implementation by engomo: 

A fully-featured B2B store based on engomoWeb, which enables the customer to fully map the complex price structure by displaying the final item price on the product detail page. In addition, a function was added that allows items to be linked directly from the merchandise management system to engomo. We also implemented a wide range of search and filter options. 

Since the store launch in March 2023, 30% of incoming orders have been digitized 

- and the trend is rising.
