The idea for engomo arose from our day-to-day work with ERP and production processes. Time and again, it became clear that while standard software meets many requirements, it quickly reaches its limits when it comes to custom workflows. Customizations are often time-consuming and difficult to build upon. That’s why engomo was created—a platform that doesn’t replace existing systems but rather extends them in a meaningful way. Companies can start with a specific process and then gradually expand the platform’s use to additional applications, departments, or locations. Today, we combine this process and integration expertise with low-code, AI-powered app building, and AI agents. This enables us to help our customers confidently leverage new technological opportunities while maintaining control over their applications, data, and processes.

For more than 15 years, Jens gained experience in mapping ERP and production processes across a wide range of industries. In the process, he realized that no IT system truly maps business processes flexibly—and customizations are expensive. That’s why he created engomo, a configurable app platform that enables companies to digitize processes without programming and independently of their backend systems. Prior to that, Jens worked in ERP consulting for over ten years, and before that as a developer. Even while he was a student, the business informatics major programmed a complete ERP system for a company in the machining industry.
Kerstin Stier | CEO
Over the past 15 years, Kerstin has held a wide range of roles in the software industry – spanning marketing, sales, project and product management, and business development. At a now market-leading software company, she built the brand and marketing strategy from the ground up during its startup phase. As a product manager, she helped shape innovative B2B software solutions and developed go-to-market strategies for partner sales, international growth, and long-term business development.
